Lauren
Going back to work was supposed to be a painless transition, but when my new boss turns out to be an arrogant, cocky jerk, he quickly turns my professional life into a world of torture. Okay, fine, calling him an asshat before knowing he was my boss wasn’t my finest moment. Hating him should be easy. I just never counted on him being so gorgeous or charming when he’s not annoying me.

Austin
I expected my new assistant to be professional and punctual, but all I’m getting are dirty looks and rude comments. I should fire the little hellion, but instead all I can think about is bending her over my desk and breaking every rule I’ve ever made for myself.

One look. One touch. One night. If we break the rules, our lives will never be the same again.

Good thing rules were made to be broken. And besides, it feels so good to Tempt the Boss.

REVIEW

5 Stars

This is the first Natasha Maddison book I have read but i am rectifying that fact asap!! The synopsis drew me in and I couldn’t wait to get started with this book, it didn’t disappoint!
This book definitely gave me a case of emotional whiplash. One minute I was crying with laughter and the next I was a sobbing mess. I never knew what emotion was going to be pulled out of me and for me that is a big plus in a book. There fact that Natasha had me laughing one minute at these characters silly antic and yet crying in the next breath is a testament to how good the writing was in this book.
I loved the characters in this book, not only the hero and heroine but also all the secondary characters., They all brought something to this story and kept it entertaining. Lauren’s parents were a complete hoot especially at the anniversary party, they took that like champs.
Lauren has recently become a single mother and is also thrust back into the work place after being a stay at home mum for so long. After getting into an altercation before work the last thing she ever expects is to see the arrogant asshole is her new boss. Lauren was amazing in my opinion, she got knocked down many times but got up each and every time stronger and better. I admired her grit and determination and also her parenting skills, she did everything she could for her children.
Austin was as ass, there is no disputing that fact but he was a loveable ass in the end. The way he treated Lauren’s children really endeared me to him and I have to say watching Lauren torment him was the highlight of this book.
These two characters really played off each other and the chemistry between them was off the charts. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I would definitely recommend it, Natasha Madison is an author I will be following and keeping up with her upcoming releases. I’m excited to see what comes next.
I was given a complementary copy of this book for an honest and unbiased review.

When her nose isn’t buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she’s in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It’s a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn’t listen to her…
