JAX

My life was simple… until Bo Brendon crashed into my lap. Shy girls aren’t my thing, yet somehow, she’s under my skin and in my head. It’s a f*cking nightmare. Yet it’s a nightmare I don’t want to give up.

BOLIVIA (BO)

Jax Marshall was an accident. A really sexy, smart, incredibly smooth, hot… accident. He’s the kind of guy you shouldn’t fall in love with, because he could crush you with barely any effort. Especially someone like me. Either it will be the best thing to ever happen to me, or it will be the disaster that leaves me in ruins.

I guess I’ll find out.

REVIEW

4.5 Stars
There have been so many times throughout this series where I have changed my mind about who my favourite is, I have to say Jax and Bo have knocked them all down a peg! These two definitely steal the top spot on my list.
I loved Bo instantly in this book, we didn’t see too much of her previously so I wasn’t that sure what to expect. Bo was a pushover, she let people walk over the top of her especially her twin sister. I really felt for her at times, no one really cared about her feelings and it hurt me to read about the pain she felt.
Jax was your typical no strings attached relationship kind of guy, he wasn’t looking for a relationship and that’s why he was with Bora in the first place. Even though there were a few times Jax annoyed me I loved him instantly, he was just so loveable even when he was being a jerk!
I hated Cody, he was a douche nozzle and I couldn’t stand him in the slightest. Even when he was wrong he wouldn’t admit it and I hated the things he did.
I felt like I was living this story right alongside Bo and Jax, I felt the emotions they did and was hanging on their every word.
C.M Owens writing style really appeals to me and I love her characters. I was hoping Maverick would be next but I’m glad it’s Bella and Ethan although after reading the little bit in the back of this book I’m now not so patiently waiting to read their story.

C.M. Owens always loves a good laugh, and lives and breathes the emotions of the characters she becomes attached to. Though she came from a family of musicians, she has zero abilities with instruments; she sounds like a strangled cat when she sings; and her dancing is downright embarrassing. Just ask anyone who knows her. Her creativity rests solely in the written word. Her family is grateful that she gave up her quest to become a famous singer.
